Before electronics came into my life, I was a self-taught drummer. I have
been making and recording electronic music since 1982 when my father bought me a Ferrograph Logic 7 Reel-to-Reel tape recorder. One of the first things I recorded was a regression for the local radio station.
Audio and music projects I've been involved with include Nagamatzu
(co-founder, guitarist, programmer, engineer), Lustmord as
engineer/programmer (e/p), Terror Against Terror (e/p), Isolrubin B.K.
(e/p), Legion, S.E.T.I. (the one with the d.o.t.s.) and Lagowski.
I also make videos for my live laptop music & noise sessions. I've been
working with video since the mid 1980s when I began work at St.
Bartholomew's Hospital as an audio-visual technician. Needless to say,
Bart's gave me lots of inspiration for dark and moody music. I would spend
my lunchtimes looking around the medical students' museum which had numerous Victorian medical anomalies on display in jars around the walls.
I am always working on new projects in audio and video and can occasionally
be found playing live in Germany, Japan, Belgium and elsewhere. Generally, I
can be found live in London on a daily basis.
