The Zephyrs have been around in one form or another since the 1990s. Formed by Stuart and David Nicol they have released four LPs, two EPs and several compilation album tracks on a number of record labels.
With a floating live line-up The Zephyrs’ recordings have been characterised by large casts of contributing artists including Sean O’Hagan, Adele Bethel, Rachel Goswell, Barry Burns, Cian Ciaran and John Cummings. The forthcoming LP features David Nicol, Robert Dillam, Marcus MacKay, Mary MacMaster, Graham Deas, Lisa Jen, Barry Burns and local blues band Baby Isaac.
