About me: The Laguna Education Foundation was established in 1995 by the Board of Education for the Laguna Department of Education as a means of acquiring additional revenue and resources to support the educational initiatives for the Pueblo of Laguna, including the Laguna Department of Education. In 1998, the Pueblo of Laguna Tribal Council passed Tribal resolution No. 15-98 approving the establishment of the Foundation as an independent non-profit organization.
The goal of the Foundation is to support life-long learning and promote positive youth development. Through the Department of Education, the Foundation helps support education from preschool through higher education.
Through the Foundation, we offer a framework for leadership development and support for graduates looking to achieve meaningful work and healthy lifestyles. And we continue to strive to meet the needs of the community and provide the Pueblo with outstanding professionals and citizens.
Since 2005, the Laguna Education Foundation and the Laguna Rainbow Center have teamed up to present an evening of fine art to raise money for our scholars and our elders. Join us as we celebrate our people, young and old, now in our fourth year! The evening will feature our silent auction and music by world renowed musician Steve Figueroa. Food and wine will also be provided for our wonderful guests. Help us make the evening another great success!
