I will attempt to write an autobio without sounding to shameless ; ) Here goes...
I am a girl who grew up in a small town in Massachusetts. I had a fairly normal childhood...whatever normal is, and I had a functional family....whatever functional is.
I realized at an early age that the only thing I could see myself doing with my life was performing (except for when I was 10 and I wanted to be a chef for a short time) So my parents did with me as any other parents would do with a singing/tap dancing/dramatic child, they put me in theater.
Fast forward a few years and I moved to the City of Angels to attend The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and pursue my dreams. Starry eyed and hopeful.
I had been writing songs since I was about 16 or so but hadn't really done anything with them until a few years ago. I knew its what I had to do so I got my ish together and started playing gigs around LA in April of 08'.
This past year has been quite a ride! I can't believe where this journey has lead me! Whether it was touring the west coast, recording the second TMG collection of songs 'La Tua Cantante' which is now available on iTunes! or filming our first music video...It has all made me stronger and I've learned so so much about my music and myself..About friendship, hard work, compromise and patience. I feel so blessed! http://myspace.com/twilightmusicgirls
I've met some amazingly wonderful, talented people and I am so excited for what 2010 has to bring! ----So that's my story so far, I wish I could say it was more of a man vs. wild tale but it is what it is and it has made me who I am. : ) I hope you enjoy my music...I know it enjoys you! : P
