I will attempt to write an autobio without sounding to shameless ; ) Here goes...
I am a girl who grew up in a small town in Massachusetts. I had a fairly normal childhood...whatever normal is, and I had a functional family....whatever functional is.
I realized at an early age that the only thing I could see myself doing with my life was performing (except for when I was 10 and I wanted to be a chef for a short time) So my parents did with me as any other parents would do with a singing/tap dancing/dramatic child, they put me in theater.
Fast forward a few years and I moved to the City of Angels to attend The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and pursue my dreams. Starry eyed and hopeful.
I had been writing songs since I was about 16 or so but hadn't really done anything with them until about a year and a half ago. I knew its what I had to do so I got my ish together and started playing gigs around LA last April.
Its been quite a year! I finished my first EP entitled 'Fall' which will be digitally released this spring! A few other singer/songwriters and I put together a side project called The Twilight Music Girls which has gotten bigger than any of us could have imagined! Through that project we also released a compilation CD which is available on iTunes and are working on our second right now! http://myspace.com/twilightmusicgirls
I've met some amazingly wonderful, talented people and I am so excited for what 2009 has to bring! ----So that's my story so far, I wish I could say it was more of a man vs. wild tale but it is what it is and it has made me who I am. : ) I hope you enjoy my music...I know it enjoys you! : P
