Laila has been singing and songwriting for a few years,
since her first underground garage release in 2002 by No U Turn records with the tune 'Givin up on love', she has been working on an acoustic neosoul project with Clark Berger - gigging in and around london at various venues (vibe bar, the blag club notting hill, The good ship, Ten West, Notting hill arts club, 12 bar, The Mass, Kimberly Festival etc..)
She has recorded with the likes of Noel McKoy, Jon e cash (Da Black Ops), Robert Plant, Kid Africa...among other hard working artists and producers.
She has also toured with - Nicolette (Massive attack) and Marcus Begg (Jaded album), ESP (Jazz funk)

Big up. Any self-respecting artist should have a trouser ferret on stand by in case their main ferret breaks down. But you've been running so nice for ages now i can't see it happening. 09 nine is the year of the ferret, no doubt .
This program was made earlier this year for Channel four TV and has been created to give some inspiration to teenagers at schools across the UK!
