Laird Camster, songwriter/singer/musician has played on stages all over America and England. When not playing live, he writes tunes for himself and a wide variety of other artists.
In the 1990s, he toured England extensively, playing large theatres to happy crowds (of English people). He also found time to star in a few movies, and work as a minor actor in other ones. He also wrote (and still writes) books for publishers Wessex Books of England. topics include prehistoric sacred sites, crop circles, the real King Arthur and more.
As well as theatre performances, Laird was featured on MTV throughout Europe with the duo he was in with songwriter/performer Nicky James (who also wrote with Elton John, Graham Nash, the Moody Blues and many others). The video for Diana Queen of Hearts was dripping with Britsh-ness, and was quite a hit, causing the duo to spend many hours yakking away on various talk shows on television and radio.
Now living in bigfoot country (Oregon), Laird still plys his trade in music, writing and artwork from the green-carpeted hills of the Northwest.
