About me: I am the founder of Lair Of Dragons Bird Rescue. We are a not for profit Lancaster County, PA Bird Rescue & Sanctuary dedicated to preserving the welfare of companion parrots. We take in unwanted, neglected and abused parrots, we try to take in the worse case scenerios first, the birds no one can handle, terminally ill, aggressive, mutilated and we help them in order to save them from a life of neglect. Those that can be rehabilatated are placed in qualified homes that will provide them with a lifetime of love and companionship. Although for over 5 years we have funded our sanctuary with our own out of pocket money and will continue to do so, we are now excepting donations towards our new permanent sanctuary here in Pa, to better care for the birds that will spend their lives here do to terminal illnesses or behavioral problems. We realize their are again far more birds needing our care than those that can be adopted out. We would like to build a free flying permanent aviary where these special birds can live out their lives. Thank You for your support

My mom rescues birds and keeps them forever, mainly deformed and problem birds. She's up to 11.
