Established in 1885, the Lake George Association is the nation’s first lake association and a pioneer in the conservation movement. Since its inception, the LGA has broadened its mission to address the ever-changing needs of the Lake George environment. The LGA advocates a reasoned, balanced approach to the management of the Lake George Basin to ensure long-term stability of the water quality and the viability of the watershed. Lake George is in Upstate New York.
