LHSC also offers 2 Sunday Spiritual Services. LHSC currently has 3 amazing Ministrial Guides. Our MG's are Rev. Michael Underwood, Maren Amdal, Lou Longmire. We currently offer Community Servies at 9am. Explore a wide variety of meditative practices including: Blessing, Healing, Toning and Meditation. These services are hosted by members of the community. We also offer a 10:30am service that is hosted by 1 of our 4 Ministrial Guides. This inspiring service can include a talk, music, meditation, a ritual of interactive group activity. Each fourth Sunday the Celebration Service includes a healing ceremony in which we share healing energy with each other. During our 10:30am Service we also host a Children's Circle. BRING THE KIDS!!! Our children's program includes creative activites and focuses on general sacred spiritual principles.

Since 1988 Lake Harriet Spiritual Community has been serving the Twin Cities as a sacred home honoring all paths to the divine. We are a spiritually diverse community that honors and explores all sacred beliefs and empowers the unique connection to the Divine Spirit within each of us. Peace "Playshop" brought to you by JOJO and the letter Z Jojo will be hosting a "Peace Playshop" on Tuesday evening Nov.20th. 7pm @ Lake Harriet Spiritual Community Center. This is going to be an open forum for us all to share stories about our heros. We will watch some movies and Docs. on Activist, Revolutionaries, and artist who have used Non-violence methods to make change. Bob Marley (and his connection to the Emperor of Ethiopia, Haile Selassie I ) Gandhi, The 14th Dali Lama, Lennon, Nelson Mandela to name a few. We have all heard of these people but maybe dont know their whole story. The idea is that we all share our knowledge. We want to organize a peaceful gathering @ the Republican National Convention this summer ....sooo this will help set the vibes and intention.
