Influences
each other, mostly. we are each songwriters and performing/recording artists in our own rites, and we listen to each other's music a lot (eli moore, lindsay schief, the palisades, live active cultures, kickball, ashley eriksson, mark's band number bear, and andrew's project, -a). but certainly other things as well, seperately and together. karl blau, honesty, dear nora, arthur russell.

Greetings people of lake! Thought i'd chime in and say how wonderful the new record is. Loving the sixties vibe on a few of the songs, not sure if yall were attempting this but i got a dlightful turtles/mamas and papas groovy fort of feelin a few times. either way, absolutely love it as i figured i would. sad i wont be able to see yall in athens as i live in cali now, but ill try to help spread the word around as much as i can. guess ill see yall at whatever show here im able to catch, safe travels!
I don't suppose you'd be able to stop in Cleveland between the Indiana and Pennsylvania dates (Oct. 25-29). The Beachland Tavern would be a good venue for you people. Or maybe the Grog Shop. Otherwise, i'm driving to Chicago to see you!
Man, I have had your guys' music in my head for the past week. I just got caught up to your K releases(Weston let me borrow Let's Build a Roof). I love all that you guys are doing. I am very pleased to be able to see you guys in Claremont and possibly at the Smell. Hope the road treats you well!
