Sounds Like
Empty and deep, two contrasting concepts to play with. Songs of self-evilness, love, experimention, lonesomeness, death, sex, girls, surfing, Karol and Reds. Rough up the edge, smooth out the gravel. Forget the fads. Churn modern time and add a retro quality full of springs, grooves, lyrics and rythem. Lay it all down on a tape full of magnets, every single time, theres no better way. Beat up a vintage jem with new modern sticks. Rumble the cones of an aging amp. Go out and do it yourself. Setup, Write, Forget and Study.
La Knots is a drums and guitar duo from Boise thats been together since 2004. Demmi and Tuck started playing in the 8th grade and have since then played shows at The Hyde Park Street Fair, The Venue, The Knitting Factory, Terrapin Station, The Visual Arts Collective and a large amount of house shows in the Boise area. La Knots generates a fast beat to simple structures of lyric ideas and chords. They certinly enjoy the burning of three chords and a bit of rock and roll. A distorted Leslie speaker with reverb helps add a psychedelic touch over the whirling vocals and breaking drums.

Greetings Do excuse the 'spam', but I have three new songs up on the page, each from a different upcoming album.
One from the sleepers / hellmouth split, which will be out in the next few weeks on cassette from Marygarden Tapes.
One from the first full length Sleepers album (along with the other two 'untitled' songs), also coming out on Marygarden, but on CD.
One from the collaboration album between Sleepers and Jason "EVIL" Covelli, with all words and voice by Jason, and all sounds and editing from myself.
I have been working endlessly on new material for Sleepers, and I am very excited for the progression of this project. I believe it may have even taken over Bicycle Sighs' place as my 'main' project. A lot of the albums listed on the page are still seeking homes, but I do believe I will be able to maintain a solid and consistent output, as Sleepers has unlocked something deep inside of my mind.
I am, as always, still seeking out new collaborators, in aural, literary, and visual additions.
