About Laliya

Laliya is an instrumental hybrid of new acoustic and subtle world fusion, creating an atmospheric soundscape with the technique known as two hand tapping on the Dulcimer, combined with rhythmic and percussive beats. A truly unique, and transcendent auditory experience / In December of 2004, Laliya extended their boundaries with a radio interview broadcast nationally in the USA on Public Radio International (BBC World), with Lisa Mullins. This led to Laliya receiving airplay on Echoes (National Radio), where Laliya were placed in the top artists category for January, March and April, and WRUR FM91.9 based in Ohio, where Laliya made both the top most played and requested songs in 2005. It's beautiful and joyous and mesmerizing and full of life; listening to "Just Like River", I feel it calms and cheers my soul. Been playing it over and over again. :)
