My name is Sherry and I have been singing since I was old enough to understand the joy and passion that making music makes me feel. I started singing in CHURCH choir in JR. High and continued to do so in High School. In Jr. High, I was in the choir at Petaluma Jr. High for the first semester until we moved. Due to piss poor math grades, I wasn't allowed to do Choir as my elective at my new school. It was either art or typing so I did art. Then I did typing the next year. In High School, I refused to NOT sign up for choir as an elective so my parents let me join CONCERT Choir at Los Banos High School in CA. The Concert Choir is the beginning choir. I took ACappella Choir (Intermediate Choir) during my softmore year, and Junior Year. I wasn't able to advance to CHAMBER Choir until my Senior year because I cannot read music very well. I tend to HEAR the music and learn it that way. During my senior year, I had Women's Choir and Chamber choir. I also did my histroy work really fast during 6th period so I could go to music appreciation. It got to where my teacher realized I'd rather be singing and learning new techniques than sitting in his class so he'd have my work ready for me on his desk for me to take home, along with a hall pass to go to the band room EVERYDAY when I walked in. I was also in BEGINNING band my senior year where I played the clarinet, but I wasn't very good,. My true passion is singing and writing poetry. I don't have one set style of music, but I sound a little like each of the following artists: Celine Dione, Avril Lavinge, JoJo, Dido, Sarah McLachlan, Alanis Morrisette, Pam Tillis, Gwen Stephani, Terry Clark, Lauryn Hill, Brandy, Mary J Blige, Pink I sing: Country, Alternative, R&B, Blues, Soft Rock, Pop Wanna Know Anything Else?
