La Luna

Bio:

This theatrical and passionate music group is made up of five enthusiastic musicians, who endlessly use their own and collective musical treasures.

That’s how they travel across the earth: making music, listening, searching and tuning in to eachother and their surroundings.

Their music is a mix of folk, jazz, pop and influences from world music. Their performances are very dynamic and are characterised by, on the one hand passionate energy and on the other intimate sensitivity.

Since 2006 La Luna has been giving intimate performances in people’s living rooms on, or around a full moon and new moon, the so-called “Full-Mo(o)nDays”.This successful formula resulted not only in the first CD “Hologram” (March 2007), but also performances during Oerol and at De Parade - and very good reviews on national radio.

At decembre 2007, with their programme "WinterMoon", they toured along several venues in Noord-Holland, which resulted in their second album "Blue Rose" (March 2008).
