La Maison Tellier was born at the end of 2003 when life managed to reunite the four half-brothers Alexandre, Leon, Raoul and Helmut Tellier. All from Norman descent, they decided to settle in Normandy and started bringing together influences such as CSNY, Palace Music or Calexico to create a folk music of their own, sometimes in French, sometimes in English, but always with a top-level class.
They started with a much noticed cover of the RATM classic Killing in the Name ; since then, a trumpet player has joined in. The debut album was out MAY 2006 on label euro-visions.
After a few changes in the line-up (Leon has quit us...), 2007 begins with a lot of concerts all over France.
The second LP ("SECOND SOUFFLE") was out October 2007, 18th, still on label euro-visions.
Now La Maison Tellier is touring all over France to promote its marvellous songs!!

FRANCAIS:
Collectif fonde entre 2003 et 2004 autour de Raoul et Helmut, La Maison Tellier a accueilli de nouveaux musiciens au fil des mois. Formation classique (guitare-basse-batterie + trompette) le groupe est alors parti sur les traces de Cake, Bonnie Prince Billy, 16 horsepower, CSNY..., et a élaboré un mariage heureux entre ses influences musicales, plutot anglo-saxonnes, et sa langue natale, plutot francaise.
Après s’être fait remarquer sur la compilation Travaux Publics "Une Reprise", avec la désormais fameuse version de "Killing in The Name" des RATM, La Maison sort son premier album, éponyme, le 4 MAI 2006, sur le label Euro-visions.
Après quelques changements de personnel, la fin 2006 et le début 2007 sera consacré aux concerts.
Le deuxième album de la Maison ("SECOND SOUFFLE"), enregistré à la campagne pendant l’été 2006, est sorti le 18 Octobre 2007, toujours chez Euro-visions.
Actuellement, La Maison a pris la route pour promouvoir ses chansons partout en France.
