LaMar Hudson Is… The creator and presenter of a series of educational and motivational presentations entitled “A Positive Message For Life.” Since 1991, LaMar has shared his educational and entertaining presentations by way of school assemblies, workshops, community events, conferences and summits.
“Brilliant” and “Powerful” are some words that have been used to describe LaMar’s presentations. Throughout his personal life and professional career, LaMar has made it a point to utilize his unique abilities to encourage, motivate, and inspire people to find goodness in all that they experience, and to make laughter and happiness a part of their daily routine.
Although LaMar grew up in a family that was plagued with domestic violence, alcohol abuse, and neglect, he refused to let it influence him in a negative way. LaMar was able to convert the misfortune and adversity he faced as a youth, into a series of uplifting and inspiring presentations that have touched the lives of many.
LaMar Hudson Is… A Prevention/Intervention Specialist. On the days LaMar isn’t traveling and presenting, he’s at school working with students on issues such as bullying, diversity, conflict resolution, decision making, leadership, substance abuse prevention, and violence prevention.
LaMar Hudson Is… A Rap Artist. LaMar wishes more than anything that he was a good singer (So do the students he works with, because his singing is just awful to them..lol..). The harsh reality is, that will never happen. So, over the years, he’s worked on his skills as a rap artist and has done a pretty good job. In the meantime, LaMar will continue to sing at the top of his lungs, and the students will continue to enjoy the vocal mess he makes of every song he sings…
LaMar Hudson Is… A Song Writer. LaMar has established himself as a song writer of multiple styles of music. He has written positive message rap and non-rap songs and starred in videos that were incorporated into educational curriculums.
