After the loss of many bags of crisps such as monster munch, banshee bones and even one or two ranchero's, much to the dismay of 109 people, stadium skiffle-group lambda decided to pursue other spud and corn delights in early 2009. From their early beginnings in 2001 : a crisp oddessy, lambda as a collective covered a wide range of genres from folk to funk over a five year period of eating crisps, finally settling on a '' raaaaaaaagggggghhhhhhh woomppp woooommp'' sound which followed them to their very last performances and snack times. It had seemed that bad luck had finally caught up with the group. Several members had perished in nasal spirit injestion while several were subsequently institutionalised complaining of another more ellusive coast spirit, or simply a ''beach ghost'', either way it had ended, resulting in the loss of the bass player's leg. They are currently on hiatus.

hey lads not 100% sure of the gear situation at healyfest but last year and the year before all the gear was there. i'd just treat it as a support gig, bring guitars and cymbals, snare and that. we had all our gear last year and used none of it. Bazz
