About Lambeth Amplification

Lambeth Amplification is an O.C. original - The first amps were designed in a coffee shop in Fullerton less then a block away from the former site of a little shop owned by one Leo Fender - all the amps and cabinets were constructed by hand in Anaheim - and every amp is tested in Huntington Beach.

After years of playing guitar and bass in local bands and repairing other company's amps, Josh Lambeth of Lambeth Amplification was tired of having to settle for either the mediocre sounds of the mass produced amps with a famous logo on them, or the maintenance and reliability issues that came with using 30 and 40 year old amps on stage night in and night out. He knew from experience that what the gigging musician needed was a consistently GREAT sound from a reliable amp. Unfortunately the market today offers feature-heavy amps that are capable of producing hundreds of mediocre tones and a handful of good tones, but rarely a GREAT tone.

That is where Lambeth Amplification comes into the picture. We build our amps with one idea in mind. NO COMPROMISES!! Only GREAT tone.

Each of our amps is designed with a specific great sound in mind.

The JL100 is designed for power!! The clean channel has plenty of headroom and sounds solid all the way up. The drive channel is aggressive but colorful...

The JL50 is classic, producing a variety of sounds ranging from sparkling cleans, to a creamy drive, and on to a solid crunch...

The JL30 is a cathode-biased amp (often referred to as Class 'A' by other brands as marketing ploy) It has a distinctive chime reminiscent of older British amplifiers. It's a combo amp that comes with an alnico speaker...

The JL100B is an all-tube bass amp that has a powerful clean sound on one channel and a aggresive driven tone on the other...

The GBX features the pre-amp from the JL100 and the pre-amp from the JL100B driving a single 100w power amp all in one box.

Lambeth Amplification is now releasing a limited number of JL100 betas!! The JL100 is a an all-tube, hand-wired, point to point 100 watt amplifier. It uses 4 - 6L6 power tubes and has two channels.

Riff Haus Rehearsal/Recording Studios	Feb 23 2007 3:14 AM Our rates for rehearsals: (rates go down the more hours you book) $25 for 1 hour $35 for 2 hours $45 for 3 hours $12 for each additional hour after 3 For long sessions, booking 8 hours straight ($105), the following 4 are free (12 hours continuous). Our rates for Analog recording on 24 track, 2" tape, Mastering on 1/4", then giving you a CD copy: (Rates include engineer). $45 an hour. For cd duplication, contact us in person. If you wish to hear a demo, it must be picked up at our studio. (we don't mail out demo's) Digital recording will be available in upcoming months. Recording sessions require 24 hour notice. Sessions limited to 10 hour blocks max at one time. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
