Con influencias del Word-music y de Nu-Jazz las composiciones de La Mente Calva utilizan variados ritmos y armonías, en la fusión de un sonido propio y al mismo tiempo de jazz universal.
Teclados, batería, bajo, secuencias, loops, percusión latina, sintetizadores, trompeta, saxo, acordeón y voces son los elementos sonoros que articulan este proyecto contemporáneo.
La Banda cuenta con más de dos horas de repertorio original y con un sofisticado universo de sonido.
