Finger mustaches, mustaches in general, porno mustaches, mustaches. Chuck Norris' mustache!!!
I am interested in: 1/2 days, angels, art, artistic postmortem photographs, being vocal about things I feel strongly about and not backing down when I know I'm right, Best Buddies, black pearls, books in a series because I like to read whole sets of things and I don't start a series unless I can commit to the whole thing, butterflies, cheese, ChemoAngels, cherries, chicken wings, Dale Chihuly, Dane Cook, Dante Alighieri, Diet Coke, fairies, finding time for me even when that means taking a 20 minute shower just so I can think, fixing up my house, flip-flops, flavored coffee, Found Magazine, fruit punch, gardening, Gaspee Days, getting actual mail, ghosts, glassblowing, gofugyourself.com, going to the beach, hauntings, Italy, kittens, La Divina Commedia, learning more about flowers and vegetables, looking at my students' myspaces so I can get to know them as people and not just homework averages, magazines, Magic Hat #9 on tap, magnets, margaritas, medical oddities, Michelangelo, movies, music, my job, The Onion, opals, peaches (the fruit, not the singer), pinkisthenewblog.com, plastic surgery, Postit notes, postsecret.blogspot.com, rainbows, reading, reading Masslive, reality television, researching things on line, Rhode Island, Salem, Sharpies, singlehandedly reviving Rob Lowe's popularity and status as heart throb extraordinaire!, sleeping late on the weekends, snow that is so dry you can see each flake as they collect on the railing and you realize they really ARE all different and it's not a cliche.., stickers, swimming, talking to friends, televisionwithoutpity.com, the color green, time lapse photography, travel in the US and abroad, true crimes, turquoise, urban legends, vampires, watching 50 million DVD's, and not being afraid to say 'enough is enough.'
I am obsessed - almost - with celeb gossip. I just find them to be weird, kooky and way more interesting than most people because with all that money and fame comes no self-control!
Music
883, Alanis Morrisette , Andrea Bocelli, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Anthony Stewart Head, Barenaked Ladies, Ben Folds, Ben Folds Five, Billy Joel, Bing Bong Bros., Bon Jovi, Buffalo Springfield, Counting Crows, Dogs Eye View, Don McLean, Elton John, Fall Out Boy, Fiona Apple, Fleetwood Mac, Fleming & John, Gavin Degraw, Giorgia, Indigo Girls, James Blunt, Jason Mraz, Joan Osborne, John Cougar Mellancamp, Josh Clayton-Felt, Kelly Clarkson, Killers, K’s Choice, Maroon 5, Matchbox 20, Meatloaf, Melissa Etheridge, Nek, Panic! at the Disco, Paul Simon, Pearl Jam, Pino Daniele, Simon and Garfunkel, The Smiths, Third Eye Blind, Toad the Wet Sprocket, TMBG, Tori Amos, Vertical Horizon.
I am basically an anything-goes type of person when it comes to music. Anything, that is, except country-western. Because that's just wretched. i have every Ben Folds Five Cd. I like Ben Folds more than it might be healthy for me to admit. In fact, I might like him more than his mom does!
Movies
What Matrix Persona Are You?
Same stuff most people like, I guess - 21 Grams, American Pie, Anchorman, Austin Powers, Chronicles of Narnia, Clerks, The Departed, Die Hard, Dogma, Dolores Claiborne, Donnie Darko, The Fifth Element, Goodfellas, The Godfather, Harry Potter, Hot Rod, The Karate Kid, Knocked Up, The Illusionist, Indiana Jones, Lemony Snicket's a Series of Unfortunate Events, Lord of the Rings, Matrix (even the 3rd one), Memento, The Music Man, Napoleon Dynamite, Office Space, Old School, The Prestige, Pulp Fiction, Shawshank Redemption, the Sixth Sense, Snakes on a Plane, Speed, Star Trek, Star Wars, Waiting, Wedding Crashers, X-Men. I really like movies that are so terrible that they're actually good - i.e. the Blade trilogy, Underworld, Army of Darkness, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. I like movies about serial killers - Ed Gein, Jeffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, Aileen Wuornos, Ted Bundy, Richard Speck.
Movies I really hate to watch - but do anyway - are creepy, inbred mutant killers on the loose movies like the Hills have Eyes, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, House of 1000 Corpses, zombie movies! I hate wanton violence in movies - I don't mind if the killer dismembers the victim, but I want to know why. What is his motivation? Pointless killing is just gross.
Television
I used to watch so much television it wasn't even healthy, and even now I think I watch way too much, but nothing on TV is really "quality".
Some shows I enjoy, or have enjoyed: 24, Abrams Report, American Idol, Angel, Antiques RoadShow, Best Week Ever, Big Love, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Carnivale, Cold Case, cooking shows on PBS, Dead Like Me, Deadwood, Desperate Housewives, Dexter, Dirty Jobs, Dr 90210, Dr. Phil, Entourage, ER, every CELEBReality show on VH1, Extreme Makeover Home Edition, Family Guy, Food Network, HGTV, Highway to Heaven, House, Inked, Kids in the Hall, various permutations of Law and Order, LOST, MadTV, Miami Ink, Monk, Moving Up, the morning news on a local station so I can constantly be disappointed by the quality of reporting, MTV, NIP/TUCK, The Office, Oprah, OZ, the Paul the Gardner Guy on HGTV, Prison Break, Project Runway, Red Sox games, Seinfeld, Simpsons, Six Feet Under, SNL, Sopranos, South Park, Star Trek, Talk Soup, TLC, Trading Spouses/Wife Swap (they're pretty much the same exact thing), Upright Citizens Brigade, What Not to Wear, The Wire.
Shows I dislike are: The War at Home, According to Jim, Two and a Half Men, Trading Spaces, the Daily Show, Jay Leno, Every Day Italian with the ever-so-creepy Giada Di Laurentiis, anything with Rachel Ray.

Books
I like to read a lot of different books at the same time so I can pick up whichever sits my mood. Some of my favorite authors include: Stephen King, Patricia Cornwell, JRR Tolkein, Anne Rice, OOTS, Louise Rennison, Chuck Palahniuk, Lemony Snicket, Eoin Colfer, Dean Koontz, Dan Brown.
I read magazines all the time - the more celebrity-crazed the better! I currently subscribe to: Lucky, Redbook, Allure, Glamour, Cosmo, Self, Rolling Stone, Elle, Jane, Blender, Marie Claire, and never pass up the chance to read: Ladies' Home Journal, Better Homes and Gardens, Time, People, Entertainment Weekly, US, InTouch, Star and Ok.
I don't like reading history books or books like the Chicken Soup series, because I find them treacly and contrived.
Heroes
I don't think I have a "hero." There are lots of people I respect and there are lots of people I admire. There are lots of people I look at and think, "I wish I had that quality," but I don't think that makes any of those people my hero. I don't even know if there are too many heroes in the world. Someone for whom I have the utmost respect is John McCain. But I can't say he's my HERO. I also appreciate people who triumph over adversity like Christopher Reeve and Lance Armstrong. Maybe we use the word so loosely that it has lost its meaning to me. Although, the more I get to know her, the more Ava Lagasse is my hero. You know why, kiddo.
Born and raised in the biggest little state in the union - the Ocean State aka Rhode Island. Graduated from Pilgrim High School in Warwick, went on to URI to study Italian, and UMass Amherst to get my degree in Teaching. Currently a student at Westfield State in secondary administration. Looking forward to becoming superintendant of schools when I'm 40. I love hanging out in room 209 with my Mean Girls club - Caity and Mindy et al. Looking forward to the birth of my first child. Hoping not to screw it up!
.. ....
I don't like to spend too much time thinking about things because I end up talking myself out of them and then regretting it forever. So I didn't think, I just acted and I ended up here.
.. ....
I am 31, living in Westfield Mass, married and pretty happy. We have 1 cat, Samuel, and 1 perfect, awesome son, Renato. We met, fell in love and got married within 2 years. We're perfect for each other. When one of us needs to be grounded, the other is there; when one of us needs a shoulder to cry on, the other (alright, it's always him) is there; when one of us needs to get drunk, the other is happy to be sober to drive home; when one of us needs to let off steam, the other is there; when one of us needs to yell at something, the other tries very hard to get away :)
.. ....
I am insane, complusive, hyper, unexpected, obsessive, procrastinating, gossipy, pragmatic, obstreperous and a little impatient.
.. ..
Who I'd like to meet: Someone who thinks I am just the coolest person ever and isn't afraid to tell me CONSTANTLY!
Someone who will talk me out of doing impulsive things that will ultimately lead to misery.
CHUCK NORRIS
PJP II in the afterlife.
Dane Cook- shook his hand once, don't think that counts :)

so i have a pretty bad cough...i think i should stay away for another week or so. i miss you tons and want to see the baby, but i need to keep my germs for myself.
so i don't know if caity had called you, but we made plans to come see you this past thursday... but then i started getting a sore throat and didn't want to be around the baby... my sore throat turned into laryngitis (again) so now i have no voice at all. and to top it all of, thursday during school they made an all call for someone with a flat tire. yeah, it was me. so even if i wasn't sick i wouldn't have been able to go. but i am determined to come see that little guy, so maybe this thursday will be good.
Hey hot pants!!! Hope everything is going well. I was thinking about you the other day when I was walking around the Scituate Art Festival. I can't think of that festival and not think of you in the wheelchair there.
