Yes, I'm a gamer geek girl on top of everything else! | | Music | Siouxsie Sioux, Bauhaus, Sisters of Mercy, The Cure, NIN, Godsmack, Staind, Cruxshadows, Bella Morte, The Shroud, The Decembrists, Tiger Army,Sarah McLaughlin, Loreena McKinnet, Vas, Vast, Solace, just about any classical, middle eastern dance music, lots of Celtic music, really just too much to mention it all! | | Movies | The Lion In Winter and Dangerous Liasions are probably the 2 best movies ever made. Underworld is probably the best vampire movie to date. Near Dark is the best vampire movie ever until the last 10 to 15 minutes, where it gets painfully stupid. Really worth watching up to that point tho! | | Television | Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Firefly, (yep, you really are sensing a Joss Whedon theme here) and all the Law &; Orders (but especially SVU, Rome when it was on HBO and I really liked Dead Like Me when it was on too. Currently, I'm addicted to Battlestar Galatica and Dexter also floats my boat! | | Books | Mostly I read history and various non-fiction (biographies and criminal psychology works) but I have to admit to being a big dorky Harry Potter fan. And I'll read just about any vampire trash I can lay my hands on. Sadly, most of it really IS trash. SIGH | | Heroes | Elizabeth I, Eleanor of Acquitane and Christine de Pizan. |

About me:
OK before I get into all the fun "About me" stuff I just want to make one thing very clear. If you want to add me as a friend you need to send me a message and tell me why. Introduce yourself. If that's too much effort for you then you are clearly a spammer or some egocentric arse who's just out to collect "friends" so you look popular when people look at your page. I do not wish to add either type to my own friends list. So, no message, no add. Simple enough?
Now as for me...
I'm a paradox, a cynic who tries to look on the bright side, someone who generally expects the worst of people (and is therefore seldom surprised) yet manages to avoid being bitter. I dislike the majority of people on the planet but like people enough to try to get out there and find the truly fine ones worth knowing. I enjoy a quiet evening by the fireplace with a good book and my solitude and equally enjoy a good romp in the mosh pit should the ocassion arise.
