''A cross between Jimmy Eat World and Weezer, with some Queens of the Stone Age thrown in for good measure... A&R men should get on the bandwagon early with this one, because this band is going all the way to the top''
Ken McGrath (Rock Sound).
''Blew me away. Exciting times.''
Simon Young, (Kerrang!)
"Don't let the capital’s ridiculous house prices put you off: This band is the hottest property in Dublin right now." (Blistering.com)
Where to begin? Sometimes the end is as good a place as any. So we decided to pack it in late enough in the year last year. To some of you, this might be news, to others, you may have already heard by now. There's no exciting or luxurious story as to how we finished really. I mean, we still love each other, we still all sleep in the same bed every night, and we still enjoy clothes shopping together and doing each others nails alot. And as many of you in bands will know, there is a right time to begin something, and there is also a right time to finish it. ...As long as you have fun in between those two points, ..well, that is why we all do it in the first place..
We did however have a few new songs finished and ready to record when we called it a day. So earlier this year we decided that we should record the songs ourselves, burn up cd's ourselves, and literally give them away as a way of thanking alot of you for being nice to us over the years. The new (and final) demo is available to download here, or I'm sure if you just hassle us we can sort you out with one. We're happy with how it turned out (for once!) and hope you like it too. We threw in the towel long before we considered doing a final show, so we said while we're at it, we'll have one last hoedown in a couple of our favourite places to play. Hopefully you can come out and hit us some high fives..
And thank you sincerely from the bottom of our hearts for all your support - we sure had fun meeting you too.
Catch ya's on the flipside!
