I am going to have a try at this, but I assume it's going to be a bit tricky. See, I'm making some synths to go with Robin Finck's (of NIN) real dreads. My assumed method of attatchment would be with Single Enders, with slightly larger loops. I would take a crochet hook, slide it through the roots of a dread, slide the synth dread on and pull the loop through the real dread, then pull the synth dread through its loop until it's secure. Something like this. But instead of the real dread, use the synth.
