Coming to a festival near you this summer… Miranda La Mutanta and the scapegoat have performed all over Europe and Australia, at festivals, squats and the front line of peace and anti-nuclear protests, where the police always make a wonderful captive audience. Their live shows are as original as their music, combining hip-hop piracy with provocative performance art and featuring such delights as singing vaginas; special guest appearances from world leaders; broken glass arse dancing; multi-media flirtations with aliens and a flaming piano. At the heart of the cabaret revival, they are musically involved with the renewable energy powered touring theatre-circus company, Cirque Idyllic, and the Rinky-Dink bicycle powered sound system. We are trying to become brave enough to play the street and perhaps a smelly pub, but as yet the lack of turquoise in these places repels us! we'll be dropping by your fantastic place again soon to give your music a thorough appreciation. ive been trying it. They are just too cute and full of life to kill. Im going to try and set heaps of non killing traps 1st before i resort to the deathly hallows......how are you all doing? Ive got shows at Big Day Out coming up so thats exciting and hectic... and its been mad weather here. raining pretty much nonstop since xmas,. hardly seen the sun, bit of flooding even... typical ausie weather eh! xx
