History:
LMC was opened in 1985 as a non-profit making organization dedicated to providing musical services at affordable rates. We regularly provide our users the chance to perform at specially organized events, and have produced a series of CDs featuring the best of the area's music. The well equipped studio has a legendary chilled atmosphere and many bands return time after time to enjoy the vibe. For your safety all our rooms are fitted with power breakers. We also have 4 rehearsal rooms, storage facilities and equipment for hire.
Rehearsals:
- OPENING HOURS :
- 1 pm - 10 pm (8 pm Sat) 7 days a week.
- Weekdays prices start at £4.00 per hour 1 - 4pm
£5 per hour 4 - 6pm
£6 per hour 6 - 8pm
£7 per hour 8 - 10pm
- Weekends all rooms are £7.00 per hour
(solo users are charged half price room hire 1 pm - 5pm, Mon - Fri)
Recording:
- Recording Studio from £15.00 per hour with engineer
- £20.00 per hour @ weekends.
( minimum booking : 2 hours )
Shop:
- Cans (Coke, Fanta, Lilt etc) & bottled water : 70p
- Chocolate (Mars, Twix etc.) : 50p
- Plectrums: 50p
- Guitar Strings : £4.50 (individual strings for 50p)
- Bass Strings :£12.00
- Drum Sticks : £4
- Guitar straps : £3.00
- 9 volt Battery : £1.00
- 2 metre guitar leads : £2.00
- Power (Kettle) leads : £3.00
