Nana and Grandpa. They had the best marriage. Grandpa would light up any room and was always a joy to be around. He always put his family first. He owned a uniform manufacturing business and treated his employees well. He was President of the Dallas Chapter of the OU Alumni group and was very involved with the Shriners and other organizations. Both he and Nana had wonderful times with their friends in their respective weekly poker groups. Nana was a true rock who was always there for her family and many friends. She was like a second mother to me as my parents divorced when I was very young. When I became an adult she became my best friend. Many other people also considered her their best friend. Nana and Grandpa were wonderful people on their own who made each other better. Their love for each other, my mother, Uncle Chuck and myself was always obvious. I would love to have a relationship like theirs.
Hakkımda: I enjoy volunteering, live music, being outdoors, hanging out with people, working out, going to the dog park, taking long walks, tennis, politics, sporting events and traveling. I'm very involved in the community. Was on the board of Helping Hands for The Family Place and booked entertainment for 500 Inc's Artfest for a number of years. I'm the organizer of the Random Acts of Kindness and Live Music Meetups (see links below). Random Acts now has 550 members and we usually get between 30-60 people out for our volunteer events/projects. Come join us! I'm a huge dog lover and have a one year old Border Collie mix named Bonnie! She is the best female dog ever! My previous Border Collie lived to be 17 and he was the best male dog ever! Born and raised in Dallas. UT grad twice (law school and BA in History). Practiced law 3 years and decided it wasn't for me. Opened CD Source back in '93 and found my calling. We were named "Best Used CD Store" by the Dallas Observer the last three times they had that category.
