Birthplace: Buxton, Derbyshire, England
Other: Studied law at Cambridge University with future Monty Python member John Cleese. At Cambridge, Tim was the head of the Footlights club. A few years later, Tim was offered his own TV show (At Last The 1948 Show) which also starred Tim, Marty Feldman and two future Python's: Graham Chapman and John Cleese. After The 1948 Show, Tim paired up with Graeme Garden and together they formed Broaden Your Mind (with Bill Oddie performing a song every week). After 2 series, the three of them decided that they wanted to make a different sort of show which really brought fame to the three "Goodies". Although the Goodies stopped in 1982, Tim and Graeme continued working together on Radio along with Willie Rushton, Barry Cryer and Humphrey Lyttleton - I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue. After Willie Rushton sadly died in 1996, Tim would be accompanied with comedians from accross Britain as his partner in this Antidote To Panel Games.
