In Return of the Jedi, Calrissian helps rescue Solo from Jabba the Hutt. He is named a General for his efforts during the rescue, and then leads the Rebel starfighter fleet (in the Millennium Falcon) into the second Death Star to destroy the massive battle station. His mission brings on the final downfall of the Galactic Empire.
