Currently my top 5 interests (in order) are: finding a house, new board games, weekend trips, sushi w/ sake, and Psych
Recently out: San Diego Super Chargers; Just missed: my pressure cooker
Music
Sometimes I play the saxophone. More often I just listen to a wide range of bands. Just got a new radio for my car and it is AWESOME! I got one that is iPod compatible so I'm finally using my iPod. Sort of. Sometimes. Occasionally. Okay I'm still not really! I'm addicted to my launch station. Right now I have The Chemical Brothers paused because I'm trying to transcribe an interview.
Movies
Despite the lack of air conditioning, I especially enjoy movies at the Parkway over pizza and beer. I don't even care what movie really, except if it's Charlie's Angels 2: Full Throttle or Van Helsing--even a pitcher of beer can't save those movies. Last three movie seen at the Parkway or Cerrito: Leatherheads, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Hellboy 2.
My current top three hot male movie actors: I haven't seen enough movies recently. TBD!
Television
I love television and I'm not afraid to admit it! My Tivo is super full right now, mostly with five hours of 24. I don't know when I became such a USA junkie, but I'm totally hooked on Burn Notice and Psych. I still enjoy Top Chef, even though the contestants don't seem as strong as in previous seasons. HIMYM and The Office are still tops on my list of sitcoms. I hate to even say it, but I'm getting tired of 30 Rock. Is it just me or is that show not as funny and fresh as it thinks it is?
Current top three hot male TV actors: Jeffrey Donovan on Burn Notice who at first seems skinny but when running around shooting things in a wife beater is surprisingly buff, David Boreanis on Bones because Booth is so hot and competent and makes you feel safe and supported, and James Roday on Psych who is a total closet hottie with excellent comedic timing.
Books
I used to read in the car at night by the streetlights but my mom said it would ruin my eyes so eventually I got a flashlight. I've read a lot of books. I re-read a lot of books. I can't play favorites with books. But I am happy to tell you which ones I don't like and why!
Heroes
I can be your hero, baby.
I can kiss away the pain.
I will stand by you forever.
You can take my breath away.

About me: I like to be two standard deviations away from any given mean.
Who I'd like to meet: Preferably people who live in (and actually like) Oakland. But if you are fun and cool then I don't care what side of the bay you live on. I don't discriminate based on relative location to the bay.
She says "it's only in my head" she says "shhh I know it's only in my head" but the girl on the car in the parking lot says "man you should try to take a shot can't you see my walls are crumbling?"
On the tree sitters...another battle in the ongoing "Gown vs. Town" war between the University and the City of Berkeley over land use and planning. I can't really blame the citizens of Berkeley for being assertive, the University has a nuclear fucking reactor at the Lawrence Lab on campus for christsakes (don't they?) Ever read about Peoples Park and the Blue Meanies? There's quite the history, as you may know. That Berkeley is a vibrant town, on its own, exclusive of the university, is quite possibly a reason why Berkeley grads choose to stick around the area after graduation. In my opinion, this vibrancy and appeal has everything to do the historical trend of the people of Berkeley shaping land use and planning. You wouldn't have BART underground in Berkeley if the voters hadn't voted to tax themselves to pay for it back in the 60's. The tree sitters are fighting for good aesthetic appeal that makes Berkeley an appealing place to live, learn, work, play, etc., among other objectives. A beautiful campus can enhance the academic experience for ALL students, not just a select group of athletes who would use the facility. "Greenfield" parcels, such as the Schilling Gardens parcel on Lake Merritt in Oakland, with its 120 year old Redwoods, are often undervalued...until they are gone forever.
I do remember, when signing up, having some legal disclaimer flashed in front of me that gives them permission to use one's likeness for marketing purposes. I suspect they may use some of the better pics their members have submitted for match. com banner ads and pop-up ads. However mine are taken with a plain jane point and shoot and none of mine are of any quality close to being worthy of an advertisement.
And this ad, is it one of my pics? I did finally get around to signing up for match, and I used the same pics I have here. Does one of them look familiar? ...As if you have nothing better to do then to peruse Match. com advertisements. Although I'd be willing to wager you get your kicks off those ads sometimes don't you Linda?
So you're into professional wrestling eh? While channel surfing as my date was showering, I recently had the great misfortune of sitting through 45 seconds of that awful Hulk Hogan reality TV show about the guy's family life, what a fucking yawnfest ! I mean is this why people actually pay a monthly fee to get cable and satellite TV? "Wilbur, let's sign up for that there platinum package, we can get the A&E powdered milk classics channel and then I'll be able to watch the Hulkamaniac tear his shirt off, and seasons 1-5 of Walker Texas Ranger."
