Once upon a time...not so long ago...in a land not too far away, a boy and a girl were visited by the good fairies of rock, who reminded them that it was no fun to write catchy power-pop tunes if there was no band to play them and no audience to catch. Like all things that must be, this band was surely one of them. The boy, being talented at the drums, and the girl, being gifted with the guitar, were only lacking a magical lead guitarist and a steady-rocking bassist to make their dreams come true. Thus, they implored the good fairies of rock to please grant them the missing elements necessary to bring peace and harmony to all the kingdoms of the world.
It came to pass that a long-forgotten squire of the bountiful Land of Pears was delivered unto the boy and girl -- destined for lead guitar supremacy.
Thus Landfall came to be...and, after the passage of much time, eternities it seemed, a bass player from the Northern Lands was delivered unto them...
And then--tragedy! Whilst tending to the gardens of his estate, the squire of the bountiful Land of Pears so injured his talented pinkie finger that supremacy of the lead guitar was instantly snatched away from him!
What was Landfall to do? They did the only thing they could do, they begged the good fairies of rock to be kind to them, as they had in the past, and they wished with all of their might for a new lead guitar player. One that could play keyboards too. And sing.
The good fairies of rock, with their infinite kindness, speedily granted the boy and girl and boy their every wish, and unto them delivered a noble and talented knight from the Woods of Kings.
Thus Landfall came to be... complete, and ready to rock the world!
