The band formed in the fall of 2007 in Lafayette, IN. with only the
members of Will Bramer(Singer/guitar) and Zack Minix(Bassist/Guitar).
With Will being a solo musician and doing numerous acoustic acts and
building a reputation around his hometown area. Will and Zack met on a
lafayette web site and sharing similar styles in music. Their music
varies from a popish punk style, grunge to acoustic. The sound you
would get from 90's bands like Pearl Jam, Offspring, Smashing Pumpkins,
STP and Nirvana top name a few.
The band then started doing numerous shows with other local bands on a
weekly basis. In the begining of 2008 the band then recruited a
guitarist and drummer to record an E.P. and for full band shows.
Unfortunately halfway through the recording the band split leaving Will
and Zack to finish the E.P. The band went back to the drawling board
writing songs and doing acoustic shows until May of 2008 when they
recruited drummer Richie Stambaugh.
Richie is a Prudue student of live sound and recording. He was also
a memeber of a metal band Ameritus who opened for national acts. The band
then went back into the recording studio to record a full length album.
With the album currently still in the mixing and mastering stages. In
February 2009 the band then recruited guitarist Ryland Gardner. Ryland
has been in a cover band called Some Kind Of Steve for sometime now
playing covers by CCR, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers and STP to name
a few. So with the bands style he's a perfect fit and brings positive
sound to the band.
There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
