No ano de 2000, Rio de Janeiro - Brasil, Robson Souto guitarrista/vocalista e Sérgio Vianna baixista, reorganizaram antigas composições com o desejo desenvolver e melhorar suas idéias, nasceu o Land of Tears. No começo a música praticada era um Death/Doom. Atualmente, depois de muitas mudanças na formação, a banda está explorando um som agressivo muito mais pesado e rápido, preocupando-se com a técnica e o desempenho musical. A nova formação é: Robson Souto - (guitarra e vocais), Sérgio Vianna - (baixo), Wellington Ferrari - (guitarra solo) e Lord Anti-Christ- (bateria). Após a liberação de CDs demos que tiveram uma grande aceitação por parte do público underground e da midia especializada. A banda agora está divulgando seu primeiro EP "World of Pain" Atualmente o Land of Tears não usa mais recursos de teclados e de backing vocal femininos , entretanto não deixando de lado nossa influência .

In the year of 2000, Rio de Janeiro - Brazil, the guitarist / vocalist Robson Souto and the bassist Sérgio Vianna, reorganized old compositions with the desire to develop and improve its ideas, borning to Land Of Tears. In the beginning the music was created in a death/doom metal vein.
Currently, after many changes in the line up, the band is exploring an aggressive sound much more heavy and fast, worried about the technique and musical performance. The new formation is: Robson Souto - (guitar and vocals), Sérgio Vianna - (bass), Wellington Ferrari - (lead guitar) and Lord Anti-Christ - (drums).
After the release of two CD demos that had a great reception from the part of underground public and specialized midia.
The Band now is divulging its first EP " World of Pain"Currently the Land of Tears does not use more resources of keyboards and females back vocals however not leaving of side our influenceshere.
