Just me.
Some of my pictures show me playing in other bands. Those bands have made a glorious comeback from the fate of failure and frustrated fizzling-out.
Influences
I want to start writing songs like Bruce Cockburn and Mississippi John Hurt. I want to coin a genre called "dark lullabies." I want the next generation of emo-lugans to have suckled on my songs from birth. And I want them all to fall with pockets full of posies when they discover that I, their nursery father, was not the tender-hearted, whiney bitch-queen that they’ve all become.
Jeremiah Nelson (Patchwork, guitar/vocals) and Adam Cargin (Airborne Burn Victims, drums/beer) have been incredible musical collaborators. Their influence is undeniable.
And another thing... my Mom wrote a book. I can recognize qualities that I’ve gleaned in the way I write my words from the way she writes her words.
Sounds Like
I ripped off a lick from Sesame Street in "Somebody Else." I borrowed chords from Rick Nelson in "Alone." I learned how to stand on stage from Peter Mulvey. I learned how to sit on stage from Chris Smither.
The songs posted are written, performed, and recorded by me. Other examples of my recording can be found on Patchwork's (key tracks, Spaceships and Interstate) and Blueheels' websites (key tracks, Small Western Town and Lion and the Lamb).

Hey man, don't hate. That's solid good-time fun material. But.. you're right. That popcorn should definitely come with a warning from the Surgeon General. Ehhhck.
You should really get your ass back to New York. I mean, for your own safety. I've heard about the mean streets of Madison. In fact, wasn't that in a song?
