Lanedolis apears to be Gautier Dupont's musical alter ego. His deep feeling to have been thrown to this world without the manual of life didn't help him to live easily and interact with others. After some years of teenage angst, hardcore explosions and implosions, GD decides to give birth to Lanedolis, a one man band which plays post orgasmic sad songs. Rainy weather, love, Xanax, McDonalds, desperated friends, sad films, mice, sad music, sad books, sad videogames and sad people seem to give him great inspiration. Coming from the northern part of France, also known as the "french Texas", it's no surprising to find folk elements in the music of Lanedolis. GD combines musical emotional sincerity with fictional lyrics, minimalistic folk and hardcore touch.
