Il Lanificio159 si trova all’interno di un complesso post-industriale, il Lanificio Luciani e occupa gli spazi un tempo deputati alla lavanderia della fabbrica.
L’edificio, che ha mantenuta intatta la sua struttura, è oggi sede di numerose attività artistiche e professionali; in particolare la sezione cui appartiene il nostro spazio è stata riconvertita a Cittadella dell'Arte e dell'Architettura.
Il fascino della location post-industriale è arricchito dalla localizzazione geografica dell’ex- lanificio: l’edificio si affaccia sul fiume Aniene e sull’omonima Riserva naturale.
Il Lanificio159 gode di un’ottima vista sul fiume e sulla riserva, grazie ad una parete completamente a vetri e la terrazza proprio a ridosso del fiume.

Il Lanificio159 si trova in Via di Pietralata, 159A.
L'ingresso della location è a livello strada, si compone di un unico ambiente di circa 250 mq e di una terrazza di circa 40 mq a ridosso del fiume Aniene.

Romborama is the fruit of one day of shooting and two and a half months of scratching, torment, solitude, anxiety and inspiration…. To achieve the right degree of confusion. I lacerated 15000 frames on a 35mm film. Then I added letraset, colour and in the end I applied the screentones, used by designers to emphasize the colour contrast.

Il 12 dicembre 2009 presso il Bunker di via Galeazzo Alessi, i due romanissimi collettivi di design Paula e Bunka si fondono per un evento dimostrativo fuori dagli schemi.
Un aperitivo artistico ed intellettuale, durante il quale verrà mostrato al mondo il connubio che ha dato vita grandi opere a cavallo tra serigrafia artigianale, moda e design.
Paula e Bunka presentano in anteprima due stilosissimi slip:
"FUCKYEAHFIXED" disegnato per gli amanti delle fixedgear e "FUCKYEAHTRUNK" per un publico più smaliziato,
oltre ad una serie limitatissima di oggetti UNICI, scelti ad hoc dalla collezione del collettivo paula e rielaborati.
"SOLID_HO" l'orologio minimal da parete del collettivo (che sostituisce ai numeri così come siamo abituati a vederli, i solidi dell'immaginario geometrico) ora in svariate colorazione fluo e alla moda; "ART_BENCH" la panchina serigrafata ad arte che accoglie le vostre natiche artistiche in un caldo e spigoloso abbraccio sismico-contemplativo.
