Rodrigo Martín Munuera is a talented musician, composer and multi-instrumentalist from Spain who currently develops his career in Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music.
-“Rodrigo is a person who not only has great potential but, in fact, has already demonstrated some significant accomplishments” (Eric Reasoner, Film Scoring Department).
One of his latest projects include composing the music for the short film “Guard Dog” by Bill Plympton, music that was recorded with a symphonic orchestra and is in the process of being mixed at the studios of Berklee. Concert music comes from his pen also and his last works are written for choir, string quartet and five-horn band. As performer he works in a variety of styles that embrace the world’s richness expressed in the universal language of music. Flamenco influences, sounds from India, Jazz, Rock and Classical music build his vocabulary and meld to entertain and inspire the listener.
Being a composer and performer is just a part of his musical background, as educating is one of his passions. He is working on a method for guitar based on several years of teaching experience and is intended to be a systematic tool for aspiring guitar players and musicians.
His commitment has taken him to study many musical traditions and this flow is meant to grow in the following years, always looking towards communication and unity of collective consciousness.
-“He is doing all the right things to achieve success” (Eric Reasoner, Film Scoring Department).
-“He comes to Berklee with a wealth of educational and professional experience both as a writer and performer” (Bob Doezema, Contemporary Writing and Production Department).
