MARK IS A MEMBER OF THE BAND BILOXI. BILOXI lost their friend/singer, Clyde Holly, who passed away in his sleep in September 2006. The remaining members of BILOXI will be finishing BILOXI III in honor of Clyde Holly. The recording of the final vocal tracks will take place in January and will involve the coaching talents of Dean Fasano of Message, Prophet, Richie Sambora, Jon BonJovi, Trixter, Etc. After the losses sustained by Huricane Katrina, the band gathered up their lives and were in the process of finishing this release for the fans when the tragedy of Clyde's loss occurred. We were blessed to still have Clyde's signature sound all over this release and several tracks with his voice throughout.
Our talented drummer Rob has been mixing the release. I must say that he is working hard to produce the best sounding release that would have made Clyde proud. I know that I am.
BILOXI IS:

Mark is a product of the New Jersey, Florida, and Mississippi music scene. After leaving for a short while to study at the Musicians Institute of Technology in Hollywood California, he returned to New Jersey to begin work as a studio musician in New Jersey and New York. While playing in bands on the Jersey scene, Mark fired off audition material to Ozzy Osbourne and Ronnie James Dio. Mark's fellow New Jersey axe slinger from Zyris, Zakk Wylde, got the job with the Oz.
He then joined forces with Dean Fasano (Message, Richie Sambora group, Jon Bon Jovi, and Prophet) to write and record. One of the songs, Fine Line, which transpired from working with Dean Fasano became the title track on the 1998 MESSAGE release. Mark then moved on to write, record, and tour with Persian Risk out of Orlando Florida. The band was fronted by vocalist Carl Sentence (Krokus, Geezer Butler Band, and Paul Chapman's Ghost). While Mark was an active member of the Florida music scene, he studied with vocal coach, Ron Feldman (Vocal coach for Jani Lane of Warrant).
After leaving Florida in the late 90's, Mark relocated to the Gulf Coast of Mississippi and eventually joined forces with Clyde Holly & Rob Gronkoski as a part of the band BILOXI. Upon the untimely death of our friend/band mate, Clyde Holly, Mark took over the Lead Vocals for the up coming BILOXI release.
Mark is now working with his band mates ( Rob Gronkoski, James Gillies, Lee Cooley, and Dave Melton ) on new material to follow up the recording of BILOXI III "In the Wake of the Storm" a new sound, a new CD, and new band name is on the way. Stay tuned for info on the new release. BILOXI rocked the stage at ROCKLAHOMA 2008 and plans on a follow up at ROCKLHOMA 2009.

Thanks man for adding me! I am still in the process of relocating myself down there; I'd really like to talk to you guys in person once I arrive- I have work lined up there (and money in the bank, along w/ no more car problems- I've sunk about 3 grand in it to prevent future surprises- especially on the interstate!), a place to reside, and an undeniable desire to play in BILOXI even though I would expect potential resistance stemming from my actions/financial status last June/ July. I hope all is going well with you, your family, and the band. Peace-- ERIK
Hey Mark, been a while! Hope you and your family enjoyed a happy and safe Thanksgiving. You keep making great music and I'll keep drinking bad beer. Deal? Hahaha ...
