I am a proud USAF wife, daughter and American patriot! I am also very proud of my ethnic background, black and Vietnamese (Black-anese baby!), and my life accomplishments and struggles so far. I am a very complex, outgoing, spontaneous, wild, passionate person who likes to always have a good time and believe it’s important to not take life too seriously. I also think it’s important to cherish my friendships regardless of life’s little dramas.
I am a world traveler and staying in one place for awhile gives me anxiety. I believe change is healthy and opens your life perspectives into accepting all diversities and trying new things, no matter how crazy they may seem. I was born and raised in Tucson, AZ and left as soon as I could. I have lived in 4 different cities in 2 states and 2 countries as well as traveled all over the U.S., Mexico, Vietnam, China, the Caribbean and Japan. The best 8 years of my life were bartending and flairtending with some of the greatest people you’ll ever meet, in some of the greatest nightclubs in AZ and FL. For fun I love to spend my time on the dance floor and enjoy living a healthy lifestyle. I love all kinds of music, movies, and outdoor activities. I love to throw the party while networking every social event.
I met my amazing husband (Brian) in 2003 and got married in 2006. He has been in the Air Force for 15 years and is a great man that has always showed me nothing but love and support. I love him so much for embracing my unique personality and crazy antics. I also adore him for his pride and dedication to the military and our country. I moved away from South Beach when we got married to join the Air Force life and travel wherever he was stationed. Unfortunately at that time is was in Tucson. Back to hell I went! LOL! On the up side, we bought a beautiful brand new house near base, acquired some of the greatest friends you can have and had some of the wildest parties.
I retired from bartending when I got married to focus on school and my business. I have been to 6 different universities and I'm very proud of my 4.0. I take school extremely serious with a major in business and a minor in political science. I love to debate politics and spreading the knowledge of human responsibility as well as hope for an egalitarian society and a just democracy. I completely believe that one person can make a difference and there is no excuse for ignorance. I started a business called 4 Our Soldiers.com that is dedicated to providing deployed troops with care packages by contributing 50% of patriotic merchandise sold to the public. I am extremely passionate and dedicated to the morale of the men and women of our armed forces.
Now I live in Okinawa, Japan working at the Officer’s Club as a club operations manager and a full time student. I hope to graduate summa cum laude in 2009 and go on to get a job with the Department of Defense. But for now I love spending time with the great bunch of friends we have acquired here that I consider my family and am just enjoying the fruits…or cherry blossoms of life! =)
