| Band Members | Lara Smiles is a singer/songwriter who has worked on many projects with bands and songwriters for over 9 years. She now fronts her own all girl rock group The Berettas who are a regular on the London gig circuit. She has recently played support gigs with Pete Doherty, Status Quo and Jesse Wood. Lara has toured the UK and her next step is to record her first album with The Berettas.
Dan Whiffin started playing guitar at 13 and was taught by Bryan Parker co writer of the no.1 sixties hit Concrete and Clay. After leaving school Dan studied music for three years at college and then at Goldsmiths University. Since then he has worked with; Toby Baker (BB King, Eric Clapton), Nicole Russo (The Brand New Heavies), Butch Thomas (Sting, Lenny Kravitz, Jaco Pastorias), Noda Oreste (James Taylor quartet, Abrahim Ferrer), Kevin Sutherland (Lemar) and Kay Jay (Sterophonics, Alexander O'neil).
Oliver Mckiernan has played bass in bands all over the UK and abroad for the past 10 years including Paris Trading featuring a current member of The Kooks, El Pussycat Ska (The Specials' brass section), Laurel Aitken from the Skatellites (first ska band to make it from Jamaica to UK). Ollie played on Mel B's (Spice Girls) solo single two years ago and has recorded with Julian Lennon. Also he won student of the year award and graduated from The Guitar Institute in London.
Tobias Humble was born in New York and grew up in Cumbria. He started drumming at the age of 5 and began gigging at the age of 13. Currently studying for a Degree at Drum Tech in London he plays drums for Indie band Akayzia who are signed to Universal records and recently supported The Charlatans at The Road to V festival. |
