Mostly country and 80's music, but I like some alternative such as Seether and Evanescence. I also make playlists for each novel I write, and since the music reflects the mood of the book, the music is often not what I would choose to listen to when I'm not writing. For example, I listen to a lot of rock music while writing the Sydney Croft novels!
