"The industry sucks, but it's all about the love between you and the page. The industry is your ex who hates you and the page is the girl you have a crush on. So cute..." - Brandon Graham

About me: My name is Rian and I hate George Clooney with a passion that not even I can properly explain. I'm a freelance artist, and an alumnus of the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in Dover, NJ.

Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who shares at least one of the interests listed on the left of this page.
I think you and I were talking about the similarities between Benjamin Button and Forrest Gump. Maybe I just listened to you talk to someone else about it.
I downloaded and watched Resident Evil: Degeneration, I thought it was pretty lame:(. I'm sure you'll still want to see it but in retrospect I can say that it's not really worth watching. I wrote a review on the myspace page that might have slight spoilers, what a shame!!!
I just beat Uncharted. It was so awesome. I know I will play through it again. On hard!!! And to get Trophies!!! You need to play it!!! I didn't think it was too short in the end. It took me 5 good long sessions. Which I guess isn't that long if you think about it. Still awesome!!!
I didn't watch The Living Daylights cuz that commercial lied--like half of the Bond movies you have to pay to watch and that was one of em. I really wanted to rewatch Goldeneye too. As I was flipping through the channels after License To Kill that Halle Barry one with the electric dude was on and I was hungry for more Bond but damn it looked hilariously bad. Dalton was a kickass Bond and the action was really cool, I was a little skeptical at first but it was really long and full of action so by the end it won me over. I still don't think I'll be able to like any of the Bond movies more than Quantum Of Solace, it's just on a whole other level.
I'll have to get the new Faint today and give it a spin. I was pretty sure you wouldn't hate Bad Santa and that you wouldn't like it as much as I do.
I'm on an anime kick right now, I rewatched both Appleseed movies. I wasn't really bored during Ex Machina this time, and I forgot how awesome the action scenes are, but the first one is definitely waaay better story-wise, you've gotta see it. I also rewatched the whole Cowboy Bebop series and man it's great--it's neck and neck with Berserk for me. Ofcourse I haven't seen Berserk for a while and we haven't seen the conclusion because we're stupid americans, but Cowboy Bebop is kickass and I don't think I ever watched it straight through before, it's much better that way. Now I'm downloading a couple new things to check out.
So, if I had a camera-batter-charger, that would mean I could use my camera, and that would mean I could show/send you pics of my new Baby Kitty. PS, there were no orange ones on Sat when we adopted, but when I went to pick her up, today, they had just gotten an orange 3mo old female.
I just read the second issues of Anna Mercury and Gravel and they were both really awesome!! When Gravel stole that chick's ghost horse and blew her brains out--man!! I have to catch up on those and pick up No Hero. I have a lot of Doctor Sleepless here I have to read too and i still haven't read the last issue of Black Summer, All-Star Superman #11, or the last few Army @ Love's. I finally got someone to trade me Wipeout HD and it rocks!! We're gonna have to tear up some splitscreen. I've also rediscovered how awesome Unreal Tournament III is and downloaded a bunch of great new maps. Oh yeah, we have to finish beating Resistance again too.
I believe Yezek's middle name starts with a J. Joseph, maybe?
I have not read Runaways, and in my current jobless situation I have no money to get the trades, but maybe at some point in the future I'll have money to read it. I do like Brian K. Vaughan (he writes it, right?)
Oh! I finally got a new cable box, and watched the first two episodes of Dexter! Rita gone wild is right! That was quality TV! I am liking Jimmy Smits a lot more than I thought I would. So far so good, but it's Dexter. I didn't expect anything less.
I watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall last night, and Jesse is right. It is hilarious. I liked it better than Pineapple Express and Knocked Up. Funnier than Tropic Thunder? Maybe. Those are two different kinds of funny. Good blooper reel too. I didn't get a chance to see all 3 DVD's though.
