Here are few things that interest us:
Long, happy, healthy lives full of friends, family and good memories.....What more is there?
Money....not a lot....but enough to buy the time after work to breath in the joys of living.
Eternity....the place where all truth will be revealed in full.
If life ends at the grave.....what's the use in living?
Some say the Bible is just a book....written by weak men who feared death!
But where were THEY when the heavens were being formed???
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. He that follows after me will have life....and have it more abundantly."
We believe the Bible to be a book written by man, yes, but narrated and breathed into him by the Holy Spirit!
You might want to check it out for yourself.
Because from what I've read, if one doesn't accept it....one is in deep shit on Judgement Day!
You're choice, though!
Life is short!....but it's the longest thing you'll ever do!
....Oh, wait!....
Except for eternity!

Sometimes they don't try very hard to be non-biased, but at least 50% of the time their articles will portray the goodness of God's creation.
To those who know that all glory belongs to Him, it's a testament to His goodness. I love that....because the "world" hates it! ....Nell has read every book in our library....and we have 12 floor-to-ceiling bookcases!
Me?.....not so much....
I recently read "The Contrarian's Guide To Knowing God"....
It's a book about the comfort of knowing Him without trying to attain the label "Spiritual Giant"!
My list of favorites never seems to change, but then....
I'm not an avid reader!
But here are a few:
The Bible

My dad, Harley Capper Ellsaesser, who died December 15, 2007. He lived a good long life, but is now living his eternal life with Jesus. He is missed because he left a profound legacy. - I never knew how much he loved me until I held my first child for the first time. ~~~
Dave Catron - My High School band director. Dave was a natural and talented leader. He eventually became the band director at Michigan State and is now retired. ~~~
Roger Carpenter - My High School Choir director. - Roger left teaching the year I graduated and move to S.E. Kansas to manage a small fast-food business. After 30 years, he now owns all or partial interest in over 50 Sonic Restaurants ~~~
Harry Morris - My summer employer through my college years. He was the first person outside my family that showed me how to live for Jesus. Harry died recently. He is missed here, but heaven gained a good man!~~~
Ronald Reagan - Even though I didn't know him personally, he was the first person in my life who did something greater than I could ever imagine. He's in heaven now, too! And I keep wondering if he has met my dad and Harry!~~~
We're easy going and flexible. If we're driven by anything, it's to drink in the life that is given! The blessings of watching our children have families of their own has added even more deminsion to our lives.
We are business owners with interests in Real Estate, Building and Design, Photography, and family relationships! We love to entertain and interact with young people, expecially our children's friends. It keeps us young, and God knows we need help in that!
The wonder and mystery of bringing our five children into the world drew us into a relationship with Jesus. It gave our lives meaning and renewed our purpose for living! Life really has no meaning until you believe it's eternal! And where you choose to spend eternity is up to you, but, contrary to what the "world" would have you believe, you don't get to dream up your own eternalness! Sorry, there are only two choices. God's way or your own "made-up" way. No matter how smart you think you are, you'll never out-smart God.
Later!

Just popping to see how you are? Have you been affected by all the rain over there, hope you and all the family are safe. Haven't heard from you in a couple of weeks. Take care, weather here funny too, had loads of rain, not as bad as our floods last year, but it brings back memories, and after watching what is happening in the States it is horrible to see so many people out of their homes and people losing loved ones.
Not much happening with me at the moment, working hard as usual, dancing still, and having fun. The kids are both good, Ash still looking for work, hope something comes up soon she is getting pretty depressed about it. I am off to Bali in 3 weeks, it has come around so fast, I am really looking forward to spending some quality time with my sister. Since my brother died, she has really struggled with it, so we are going to do some "healing" while we are away. I am organising a Christmas in July when I get back, actually 2 days after I return! am I crazy, I say YES... LOL... we have 20 people coming for a full traditional christmas dinner with yorkshire puddings and all. We are setting up the Karaoke machine, so that will be a laugh. So if you are not doing anything on the 24th July, HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE..! take care, have a beautiful weekend and as you know...LUV YOU xx
