HAVING FUN ON STAGE WITH JOAQUIN AND DAN IN 'WALK THE LINE' PLAYING GET RHYTHM
COUNTING MY LUCKY STARS (From the Cold Case Episode 'The Red and The Blue' -- My voice on another man's body)
You may recognize Larry Bagby from his roles in movies like Walk The Line, Saints and Soldiers, Hocus Pocus, and TV shows such as The Young and the Restless, CSI, JAG, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but the actor long ago realized he’s happiest when he’s writing and performing music. Larry recently placed songs in the films The Day the Earth Stood Still, The Break Up Artist (Title Track), and performed the only original song “Counting My Lucky Stars” alongside Tim McGraw’s music in the CBS hit show Cold Case.
As a musical artist, Larry has recently opened shows for established acts Hal Ketchum, Joe Diffie, The Bacon Brothers, and has played with members of Johnny Cash’s Tennessee Three including the legendary W.S. Holland. Currently, Larry is in negotiations opening for many more well-known performers. In addition to performing with established acts on stage, Larry recently worked with Charles Kelley (of Lady Antebellum), Dave Yaden, and Tyler Hilton recording their song “Drive Away” in the studio.
Larry has been featured in Country Weekly Magazine and Country Weekly Online, CMT.com, JohnnyCash.com, various music websites and has performed across North America in many legendary venues including numerous Hollywood clubs, the music scene of Nashville, the honky-tonks of Austin, and quickly became a fan favorite during SXSW, Toronto’s INDIEWeek, and The Sundance Film Festival.
His vast catalog encompasses a wide array of musical genres ranging from country pop to the sounds of early rock and roll. With his solid background in character study, his music relates to the stories of people from all walks of life.
My new record just came out this week on I-Tunes and CD Baby. I have included a video talking about the record, hope you enjoy it! Please leave us some feedback to let us know what you think! Thanks for your support.
