I like all kinds of music. I like celtic music, good inspiration for art, love Loreena Mckennitt. I like Blues, all of it, the old down and dirty recordings from years ago, also Stevie Raye Vaughn, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and many many more. I want to take a little road trip to Clarksville Mississippi, home of the blues...also want to visit the club Gound Zero, owned by Morgan Freeman.
Movies
Huummm.... I like GOOD movies, too many junk ones out there. I did love all the Lord of the Rings movies...some of the best fantasy ones yet. Maybe Hollywood will finally learn how to make some good ones.
Television
I listen to tv...always working. I have a few favorite shows. I watch the History channel, Discovery, Sci Fi Channel, Speed, and most Education type channels, that I can find. I do love 24!!! Can't miss an Episode.
Hello again...yeah it's me....no surprise there. Thought I'd post my Veteran's Day comments a little in advance, in recognition of The Day tomorrow. And to me, "Recognition" and "Remembering" is what the day is all about. As you go about living your daily life, please stop a moment or two and try to remember just why you are so fortunate to be an American. Veteran's Day is a time when we say "Thank You" to all our Men and Women who sacrificed a big part of their lives for you and I, and were lucky enough to be spared so we can enjoy life as we know it. There is so much we can learn from the example of many of our Vets, and apply to our own journey. Be a role model, save a life, or make a sacrifice that will change a life and maybe even history.
In life there are those who help others and look out for them...intervene when they have too, and teach what they can to make life better for others. They are never in the mainstream, they do not seek fame or fortune, and yet they always find a way to survive. They are known as Soldiers...
