Not what you would call "official" band, BUT, Duane Woner and I seem to be doing more things together. Duane is a superb Bass player. We sound pretty good together......Scary!!!

The rest of my influences are Johnny Cash (The Man), Ian Tyson, Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, Emmy Lou Harris (ain't she sweet?), Lefty Frizzell, Gordon Lightfoot, Bob Dylan, and once more, JOHNNY CASH. Emmy Lou is a sweet soul, but all the others are tortured souls.

I've been performing in the Kansas City area since the mid-80's. Lots of libraries, churchs, coffeehouses, bar & grills, festivals. It's usually me, my guitar, and harmonica. I've considered forming a duo or trio with friends, but my music is typically very personal and often on the dark or bittersweet side and I think it's best played "solo." However, I'll never say "never."
