About me:

Larry is a Grammy award winning bassist currently performing with Shawn Pittman, John McVey & the Stumble,The Tony Vega Band,and Tommy DarDar.He toured Germany in April 2007 with the Tony Vega Band and played the bass tracks on Tony's current CD Glory Baby. He recorded and toured Europe in 2005 with Diunna Greenleaf & Blue Mercy and was with the band in Memphis when they won the International Blues Competition's best unsigned blues band. He also played on the grammy winning Last of the Great Mississippi Delta Bluesmen CD recorded live at the historic Majestic Theatre in Dallas,Texas with Joe Willie "Pinetop" Perkins. He has also had the priveledge of doing gigs with Johnnie Johnson & Percy Sledge who are both in the rock & roll hall of fame. From the early 80's to the early 90's "Lownote" was the original bass player for the legendary gulf coast blues and R&B band Bert Wills & the Cryin' Shames and played bass and co-wrote the title song on the grammy nominated Mr. Politician Man CD. Had a great time last nite note. Felt good seeing a mini reunion of the Shames. That may never happen again. Hats off to Tony for letting that happen. Takes a humble man to let someone take their stage. Bert thinks very highly of you note. We were talkin in the corner and he kept telling me... "Man, ide like to play with Larry just one more time... he's solid as a rock".

Hope thangs are gettin better by the day for ya LN. I'm ready to hear that DietZ 2 x 15" cab man. You gonna piss of some club owners with that thing. When I had it apart it had 2 EVM 15L's w/ 4" voice coils. It has seen 200 watts before w/ no problem.

Say Larry, I know you don't remember me, but I used to play in John A Miller's band back in the 80's. Sat in with you and Bert Wills a couple times at the Red Barn.
