Sounds Like
like there are still some people out there digging deep into Appalachian culture and keeping old traditions alive. If someone out there is keeping the old tradition of moonshining alive, send me a message, I have some cash burning a hole in my pocket.
Brent Feito and Lars Prillaman are two young, talented, and forward thinking old time musicians. They, along with several other fellow musicians strive to present Appalachian indigenous music in its purest and most authentic forms. These tunes do not belong to us, as much as they do to all of us. They are an important part of our cultural lineage, and the legacy of the American Experience.
Brent, a native of Virginia, has bee involved in historic preservation of American Civil War battlefield land and now lends his knowledge of preservation to the world of music.
Lars, also a historian hailing from West Virginia, strives to produce the sounds our ancestors heard in these mountains over one hundred years ago.
Check back regularly on this page for updates on their whereabouts and performances.
In addition to offering their services and musicians, Brent and Lars are both trained historical interpreters with years of experience providing Civil War living history programs. We have done work with many historic parks, school systems, and other institutions. Some of these include but are not limited to Appomattox Court House Historic National Park, South Mountain State Battlefield, Harpers Ferry Historic National Park, Gettysburg National Historic Park, and Antietam National Historic Park. We offer programs on a myriad of topics, and would love to share our knowledge with anyone and everyone.

i'm a little far from the land of thomas jefferson....i'm in grayson county, right next to galax if that rings any bells. i'll hit you up if i'm ever up that way - you do the same if you get some sense and come to the real part of the state ;)
you should change your myspace location ;) i don't live there anymore, either. it was kinda sucking the life out of me, anyway. moved back to the commonwealth, trying to play some music and just get by. good luck in your travels
