The 77s (a.k.a. the Ypsi 77s) is an original Ypsilanti/AnnArbor, Michigan rock band fronted by former legendary rock personality KK Dirty Money. The 77s fuse foot-stomping swampy blues anthems with raw twangy baritone surf-guitar and smear it over a thick chunk of garage punk to create a catchy-yet-unique type of "garage-a-billy blooze" that is performed with a supercharged energy. The 77s are the the bastard sons of pirates and Vikings.
