My parents first and formost... one style is just as influential as the next. It's what we do with that influence that makes it our own sound. People watching is a wonderful hobby! Many a song came out of watching the guy across the street!
Sounds Like
I sound like Sara Routh! Let's ask a differnt question... If you had someone open a show and close a show around you, who would it be? Opening...Joni Mitchell & Bob Dylan, Closing...for sure The Rolling Stones!
I'm a singer/songwriter from the Midwest who loves to tell stories through my music. A folky, rocky sound that resembles both Joni Mitchell and Janis Joplin with a twist of my jazzy mom!
We create our own destiny and I'm right in the middle of turning the next page. Like most of us, this is our passion. We live and breathe the art we call music. We are all getting closer to our individual dreams! We are all so very blessed to have the talent to "connect" and I couldn't have asked for a better gift to give to my audiences.
My most treasured performance... in front of two Japanese travellers who couldn't understand a word, they were just living in the moment of the music. I haven't found a moment in my life where it's completely silent, without song, or lyric or melody. When I find that moment I will charish it for it's shortcoming but also it's sweet, sweet silence.
hey girly!!! how is it going? what adventures have you been off on lately?? i saw your bro on tmz the other day(wierd!) and thought about you :) when r u coming back for a visit??? or do you have plans to go back downunder soon? im trying to go later this year and W.A. is at the top of my list...oh and we now have timtams at target. i took a picture with my phone and sent it to my mom, i was sooo excited-hehehe :)

hi sara! CiCi wants me to tell you that she misses you so desperately and wants to give you her love and support for the life that you had been working so hard on. She looking forward to see you again! :)
May life's brightest joys illuminate your path, and each day's journey bring you closer to your dreams! Best wishes and regards for a phenomenal new year! health.joy.prosperity. :)
Okay.... I'm now back from South Carolina ( which suuuuuuucked) and will get old man Plank to talk Shang Hi. We have a new president, which can only improve foreign relations and I have a humble bank roll, (right at this moment) so it seem as though it's all possible! Give Steve a MASSIVE hug for me!
xoxoxoxo
PS~ Although Ted being the machismo manly man that he is, I've heard him whining about Steve. Don't be fooled. I think I saw tears. He'll NEVER admit weakness....don't bring it up, Mr. MAN will only deny it...
We miss you guys too, and talk about you both every day. Steve is ESPECIALLY missed on the job, I've been stuck with Amateur Hour ever since he split (not that I believe your husband has no superior fate than to be my minion for the rest of his young adulthood). Everyone does a hard double take when I tell them where you guys are and what you're doing. Some people have more interesting lives than others, that's all there is to it. Tell Steve that Dave ("The Cook") is kicking ass in the chef world, and that surprisingly enough I'm still staying very busy.
That could change, however, but no matter what, Sue and I will make it over before you two bail to Ulan Bator or Tashkent, probably once spring hits. Freezing my balls off in Asia doesn't sound like much fun. I've read too many horror stories of the Korean War.
Teach those kids English good and proper - so we don't have to learn Chinese! All the best.
Online friends are people we may never meet.... We see pictures, we see cams...It isn't the same.... We grow close...We care and love one another.... One day we may not hear from one another.... Our hearts will break... All we see is a name on messenger but the person we don't see anymore..... We pray....."Please come back".... All I ask is you remember me in the good times we had..... Keep me close to your heart....Friends forever... Pass this on to all your friends....If I get it back.... I know you care with love, ..... Thanks for always being my friend......hugzzzz zz....
Poon!!! it's funny cuz last night i had a dream that you were back! Janet was great! Finally she tours! miss and love you tons! I wanna see China!!! xoxo me.
Now you did it...you made me cry! I tried not to cry when I read your e-mail, but your post just did it! Yes, I know you have a birthday coming up and I'm trying hard not to think about you being SO far away from us!!! It was hard enough when you were half a country away, but now you're half a world away!! Have I ever gone 9 months without seeing you? OK, I'm bucking up now!! I don't won't to ruin my PC with my tears. :)) Love you to the moon and back, Mom
I was hoping we'd be able to squeak over that way, but then I haven't worked for a month due to keeping an eye on my disintegrating uncle. Too bad Steve's not here to keep the customers happy. So, I'm waiting on my uncle to croak, and then need to rack up some $$$. By that time all the Olympics crud will be finished and we should be able to weasel a cheap ticket over the pond.
We miss you guys too a LOT, and Sue's hair isn't red anymore (alas!). Has Regan showed up to pee in the food at Steve's restaurant yet?
Hot Stuff! We've been looking up airfare on Orbitz. There appear to be fares in the $800 range. This could all be possible, BUT, I'm far too sensetive to saunter into a marketplace where they might be butchering live dogs. So tell me.....is it as bad as China Beach made it out to be? Or can I really go there and have a great time? MISS YOU GUYS!! XOXOXOXO
