From the History:
In the year 2002 autumn, two wellknown bands in Vihti area, Silent Scene and Rectum, splitted up. MHeino, Jontte and Gage started up a cover-project called Selleri Plays Slayer, which was joined shortly afterwards by Erno and Coldfinger from ex-My Burned Dreams. Durind playing the Slayer -covers, MHeino and Erno did made complete new song called The End Of All Life and wanted to create new band. All the Selleri members agreed to join to the band and after carefull thinking and good suggestion from Coldfinger's ex-wife, they decided to take new name Last IV Seasons. After couple of gigs with name Selleri, we decided that from now on we would focus only to Last IV Seasons. Olli was asked to join the band as keyboard player.
In spring of 2004, after a farewell gig from Selleri, Jontte decided to leave due the musical differences. Replacing drummer was found from Jukka (Nuclear Hammer). Erno and MHeino started a massive composing work and finally in autumn 2004, they did have enough new material to start the band rehearseals. We did try a new members to the band, such as Witch King from Avathar/Sear as an growler, but it did not seem to suite our music as we thought. In spring of 2005 Olli decided to leave from the band. Couple of months later Jukka announced, that he had to leave too due the lack of time. In the end of 2005 we found replacing drummer Karri. In summer 2006 we recruited Riztola as a third axeman and since then no major changes has happened. We are still looking for a skilled keyboard player.
Lets see how things evolve!
Year 2007 didn't begin well as MHeino decided to leave the band due family reasons.
New lead singer Holstedt step in to group during summer 2007 and we are again ready to go forward at full speed. Though keyboard players are still welcome to join to our group.
From the Last IV Seasons music:
It's all about Rock'n'Roll! That is the basic truth in which our music is based on. We do have some elements from heavier music, but we like to keep it simple and melodic. Any references? Well, we all do have our own influences but we dare not to mention those names and refer them to our music. So let's just say that we are using lots of elements from rock and spice them up with some heavier sounds and riffs. Just listen the music and you'll know what we are talking about. One thing is certain, we are not trying to make music for the people who seek extreme experiences. We certainly don't try to please musicians or critics, who seek something new and exceptional. Best audience for us are you all, who like good old 80's hard rock'n'roll feeling. Hope you like it!
Our lyrics are basicly following the same path as our music. They are based in fantasies, fairytales and fictional stories about this life and far beyond. We are not trying to educate, preach or change peoples way to think, we just like to entertain. So there is no hidden meanings or secret religious/political messages hidden anywhere. Just close your eyes and let the dream begin, but beware, not all the dreams end up happily!
